The proposed ruin areas in the images below and above reveal extremely large features possibly of megalithic proportions. The features appear raised above the surrounding landscape and appear to be rectilinear suggesting an artificial origin. Most of the images reveal the sun to be in the North East position in the sky with shadows falling to the South of the raised areas. Many shapes appear including enormous triangles, curves, and straight lines. All the images on this page were taken with ASTER VNIR satellite instrument and are 90m scale images. ASTER stands for Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer. This means the smallest possible discernable feature on the image is 90m. Many of the image features are at least 100-800 meters in proportion or more! On the landscape these features would appear as mountains, ravines and hills, while underneath centuries of dust and soil megalithic ruins may exist.

The link to the left will open a new browser window with an image of the South America region in the main window. The navigation controls are opened by placing your cursor on the open button which causes the control panel to appear. You can zoom in, zoom out and play an animation of a high contrast image enhancement to view patterns that are not discernable in the regular ASTER image.

The image consists of many rectilinear features and a very large triangular feature on the far, bottom right of the image. You will need the Flash Player installed on your computer to see the viewer.

Enhanced image reveals a large linear feature and horizontal line features near the top of the image. These features are extremely large and some stretch for miles across the landscape.

It is uncertain if these features are artificial or natural but they do appear anomalous and deserve closer scrutiny by the academic community.
