A curious series of topographic anomalies are visible in the following image studies of the NOAA topographic map of the Earth and the NGDC Coastal Relief Model. It is uncertain if the features documented here are a result of data glitches/image anomalies or if they actually exist on the underwater landscape.
This image study includes a large gridded area off the coast of Scotland, an underwater, linear feature West of San Francisco and a linear row of 10 mountains West of Scotland.
Bermuda Island Extremely large underwater line feature extending due north of the Bermuda Island.
Interactive Bermuda Island Image Study (opens a new browser window) View NOAA image data or large, underwater mountain features that appear pyramidal in shape. These large mountain features seem to be connected by a series of lines similar to the Canary Islands and Cape Verdeimage study above.
Many critics have debated the very existence of the Underwater Network of Lines. As will be shown in the article, the data collection methods of the underwater earth topography are extremely precise and the 2 minute color relief images are not only compiled from extremely precise satellite data mapping methods but over 30 years of shipboard Bathymetric depth soundings.
