Unexplained Landform and Sea Coast Structures
-Large Underwater Line Feature, Bahamas

Original Aster VNIR image taken from the USGS online archives, March 2002
White clouds can be seen in the far right of the image.

This feature looks quite peculiar and out of place on the ocean floor. This line is also quite large and extends for many miles in the image seen above.

This line begins to the North at 25.849044 N, -78.641157 W and terminates to the South at
25.607912 N, -78.724512 W. The line is to the NW of Andros Island.

The line can also be seen circled in red above in picture C. In the image above the line area almost appears to be part triangular as well. More can be seen on the Bahamas Triangles by clicking the link.

This may be a natural feature but it does appear anomalous in comparison with the surrounding areas. The strange feature in image C above circled in red has not been confirmed on aerial or satellite imagery and appears to be completely missing from Google Earth images. It does not resemble a glitch in the negative or photo.
