Linear Anomalies- Great Bahama Bank & Bimini Islands, proximity of Orange Cay

Great Bahama Bank Landsat Image
Latitude: 25.126 Longitude -79.000

The image to the left is of the Andros Island and the Great Bahama Bank. The image below is a close-up of the red square area to the left in the Andros Island context image.

Strange high albedo (lighter colored) lines can be seen, some creating 90 degree angles with each other. These lines appear out of place in their natural surroundings. It is also noticeable that the lines seem to be interconnected to the darker, circular features.

The image below shows the linear features in their larger context image. The enhanced image on the right reveals the long linear features in greater detail.

The altitude of the images below is around 30,000 feet, therefore the linear features are quite large and show up on Landsat Visible imagery.

The red lines above left reveal a rectilinearity to these line features although it is still uncertain how they were created.

Similar straight line features have been spotted further South of the Grand Bahama Bank and can be seen in the images below.

The area where these straight lines are located can be seen in the red box in the large context image to the left.

The linear feature to the right of the red rectangle is an image seam caused by piecing two images together.

Linear features run between the darker areas and almost seem to connect them.
Altitude around 50,000 feet.

The linear features appear to be connecting the large, round dark features in the image above.

The area above within the red rectangle reveals some extremely interesting features that can be seen in the close-up below.

The linear features also create complex rectilinear shapes along the sea floor. Please note there is a grid banding in the image that is a post processing or processing artifact. It is most prominently seen in the dark areas of the image as a light grid feature. However, the linear features appear to be on the actual image and not a processing artifact.

These linear features have been spotted by Landsat imagery to run all along the edge of the Grand Bahama bank just West of Andros Island. Could these linear features have an artificial orgin?

All images are Landsat Visible images.
