Satellite Image Research- Florida, Lake Okeechobee

A linear feature has been found on Google Earth imagery of Lake Okeechobee, Florida. Unfortunately most of this image has been obliterated by new image data that seems to be repetitive and inaccurate. However, much of the original imagery has been captured and saved in this image study seen below.

The linear feature can be seen pictured to the left. The width of the line is approximately 50 feet.

The image to the right reveals areas of the line that appear to be offset. Other white, high albedo areas in the picture appear to be ordered and are not a result of wave activity.

Directly to the North, seen to the left, the linear feature continues onto an area of drier land. The arrow to the bottom of the image reveals a series of waves occurring around the linear feature denoting something beneath the water causing the waves to break around the linear area.
